PARENTING COURSE FOR COURT

In the main there are generally two reasons a parent might require a parenting course for court. Either the court/judge directly tells a parent to participate in a parenting course or it is a recommendation in a Section 32 Report.

A Section 32 Report, or Voice of the Child Report as it is sometimes called, is an independent report from an expert who has met the family. Beacon Parenting carries out Section 32 Reports and more details are available elsewhere on the site.

Things are not good if a family dispute regarding children has gone to court. It means communication between parents has broken down or has become toxic. Some features of this type of relationship breakdown may include – no communication, threatening communication, hostility, undermining the other parent, parental alienation, coercive control or traits of narcissism. None of this type of behaviour is good for the child or children but sometime the dislike for another parent and former partner outweighs the love for the children. When this becomes a trend bad parenting decisions will happen and everybody, especially the children, suffers.

Separated parenting courses for court are not just for married couples who are now separating. Separated parenting courses (or co-parenting courses) are for any parents who are no longer together. At Beacon Parenting we have worked with married parents who have broken up, single parents, same sex parents, trans gender parents, step parents, parents with disabilities, non-national parents as well as a confidential family mediation service plus assistance with parenting plans. Our services are listed with Barnardos and can be used regarding Section 32 Reports.

Our separated parenting courses are delivered live, one to one either online or in your own home – we come to you. Having worked with many separated parents we know that the work we do with you is specific to you. The information and guidance you receive is designed to meet you needs. This is why we always discuss your individual needs before we begin.

Our separated parenting courses are approved by court and you will receive a certificate upon successful completion. Our staff are qualified up to level 9 and have almost 20 years of experience working directly with families and children. Our courses have received well over 100 5 star reviews from parents just like you who were researching courses.

We deliver our courses in a professional yet informal manner. Think of it as a chat between two people regarding parenting and separation. Feedback from parent reviews will show the courses are informative and enjoyable.
